The Work
You'll own a territory around Fort Worth, TX. That means you're managing everything from finding new clients to closing deals and growing the accounts we already have. It's a mix of strategy and hustle.
- Run the full sales cycle: prospecting, meetings, negotiations, closing.
- Your main job is growing existing customer business while constantly opening new doors.
- Build those long term relationships; this isn't a one and done kind of sales role.
- Create and work a territory plan that matches up with the company's goals.
- Keep an eye on what's happening in the local market to spot opportunities.
- Everything goes into the CRM; your pipeline, forecasts, call reports. Accuracy matters.
- You'll be presenting to architects, contractors, and other key players.
- Work closely with our operations leaders on project planning and execution.
- Sometimes you'll help with collecting on accounts.
- Share what's working with your peers; we all succeed together.
What You Need to Bring
They're specific about experience here. You need 1–3 years doing outside sales in the architectural glass industry itself. If you haven't sold glass directly, but you've done project management or estimating for an architectural glass company, that counts too. A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or something related is required.
- A solid grasp of pricing, margins, and how profitability works on these projects.
- The skill to manage a pipeline and forecast using CRM tools is non negotiable.
- You have to be organized and know how to manage your own time out there.
- Communicate clearly, both when you're talking and when you're writing.
- A knack for negotiation and influencing decisions.
- A mindset focused on hitting revenue targets consistently.
- The discretion to handle confidential information professionally is part of it too.
The Practical Details
The base salary range is $80,000 to $90,000 per year. And get ready for travel; this role requires extensive travel within your assigned territory. We're talking overnight stays regularly; it comes with covering the ground in Fort Worth, TX effectively.
