The Role
Brident Dental & Orthodontics needs an Oral Surgeon for our Fort Worth, TX offices. This isn't a sit in one chair all day gig. You'll travel between practices in the region, bringing your surgical expertise directly to patients who need it.
You're board eligible or board certified. You hold a DMD or DDS with an Oral Surgery Certificate from an accredited dental school. You have an active, unrestricted state dental license and a general anesthesia permit. CPR/BLS certification, DEA certification, and an NPI number are all required.
What You Will Do
- Diagnose, treatment plan, and perform oral surgery procedures
- Educate patients about what to expect before and after surgery
- Write prescriptions as needed
- Work closely with general dentists and other specialists to coordinate care
- Keep everything compliant with OSHA, infection control, and safety standards
- Bring your own instruments, materials, and equipment to each location
- Administer general anesthesia, nitrous oxide, and IV sedation
Schedule & Travel
You'll be assigned to multiple practices within your region. That means you travel between them, so you need reliable transportation and the ability to load and unload your surgical gear. The schedule is consistent but requires moving between locations.
