About the Role

This is a full time LPN position with Lone Star Medical Group in Fort Worth, TX. Your schedule is Monday through Friday on the day shift. There are no nights, no on call duties, no weekends, and no holidays.

You'd be joining Physician Services, which supports over 186 hospitals and 2,400 care sites for HCA Healthcare. The focus here is on being that first point of contact for patients.

What You'll Do

• Handle patient flow from start to finish: screening, getting them ready for exams, and instructing them on any samples they need to provide.
• Take and record patient vitals.
• Notify patients about their test results and any follow up appointments they need.
• Give clear instructions to patients and their families about medications and treatments.
• Keep patient records up to date. That means making chart entries and posting lab or test results.
• Schedule tests, treatments, and specialist referrals when the provider asks you to. Sometimes that includes getting pre authorizations.

The Qualifications We Need

• A degree from an accredited school of practical nursing is required.
• A state license to work as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• We're hoping to find someone with at least two years of experience in a hospital or clinic setting. But it's not a strict requirement if your other skills are strong.
