Branch Manager

Here's what you'll actually do

You'll own the lending process from start to finish. That means interviewing members, digging into credit reports and documentation, and matching them with the right product. You're not just pushing loans ; you're building relationships that last.

You'll exercise lending authority to handle all sorts of loan requests, consumer loans included. You'll also create positive recognition for the Credit Union and sometimes speak publicly at special events. And you'll work with branch and department managers to spot cross selling opportunities nobody's thinking about yet.

When members have questions, you research and solve them fast. You keep tabs on every branch function so there's always proper support and coverage. You implement and enforce internal controls and security measures that follow Credit Union policies and government regulations. You foster a culture of teamwork, service excellence, and relationship building.

Some days you'll step in as a Member Services Representative. You'll perform Notary Services too. You might cover management vacations and work a rotating Saturday schedule depending on the location. And you'll handle other duties as they come up ; that's the nature of the job.

The security and confidentiality of account information is non negotiable. You'll make sure your work complies with all applicable laws, including the Bank Secrecy Act.

What you need to bring

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• You must work in person at the Fort Worth, TX branch
• A strong working background in a financial institution ; and relevant consumer loan processing or underwriting experience within the last 12 months
• We'll determine job level based on your skills, qualifications, and experience

What we'd love to see

• A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field ; or equivalent financial services experience (or a combo of education and experience that gets you there)
• Lending and sales culture environment experience

Skills and licenses you'll need

• Skilled in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint ; from work experience or hands on use
• You must pass FAA criminal background checks if you need unescorted access to airport security identification display areas (SIDA)
• Excellent member service skills
• Comfortable in a sales culture environment where cross selling Credit Union products is the norm
• Able to handle multiple tasks in a fast environment and work as part of a team
• Professional interaction with all employees and members
• Fluent in English (Spanish is a plus)
• Works well independently with minimal supervision
• Basic math and data analysis skills
• Self motivated with strong organization and attention to detail
• Prioritizes work effectively and meets deadlines
• Can sit or stand for extended periods
• Varying schedules ; evenings and weekends included
• Ability to travel overnight
• Satisfactory performance and attendance record
• Pass applicable American Airlines and Credit Union pre hire compliance checks
