About This Role

The Role

Charlie Health provides virtual, personalized mental health treatment for adolescents and young adults with complex needs. We're looking for someone with a Master's degree in a mental health field who has real experience facilitating groups. This is a remote, telehealth position based in Fort Worth, TX.

We need clinicians who are sophisticated and relational ; our clients are struggling with serious underlying issues, and they benefit from therapists who can work across different modalities while keeping the human connection central. You'll be part of a warm, empathetic clinical team that values self care just as much as client care.

What You'll Do

  • Complete all onboarding requirements within 2 weeks of your start date
  • Meet with your assigned Group Quality Supervisor or Group Quality Director at least once per month for a required check in
  • Reply to emails and Slack messages within 48 hours
  • Review the curriculum for your assigned group before each session starts
  • Arrive about 10 minutes early to scheduled group time and facilitate the full hour
  • Run groups using Charlie Health best practices and the most current version of our curriculum
  • Facilitate groups across different age groups and cohorts ; including Integrative curriculum, Support Staffing, and Wellness Hour ; as needed
  • Keep clients engaged and build group cohesion during sessions; encourage participation and foster a camera on culture
  • Follow all operational policies and procedures as outlined in Charlie Health best practices
  • Attend collaborative Treatment Team meetings on Tuesdays and Group Supervision every other Friday with your supervisor, peers, and clinical leadership
  • Work respectfully with Primary Therapists, Care Experience Specialists, and Care Coaches across the care team
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, families, staff, agencies, and referents ; always on time
  • Make sure all treatment documentation is completed within 24 hours of the session meeting DHCS and The Joint Commission standards
  • Model professional ethics around boundaries and confidentiality at all times
  • Tackle other duties as they come up

What You Need to Bring

  • A Master's degree in mental health or a related field (see eligible degrees below)
