Job Overview

This role is for an ABA Therapist to provide direct, one on one therapy based on applied behavior analysis principles. You'll work with clients, implementing individualized treatment plans to develop communication, social, and daily living skills. Positions are available throughout the Fort Worth, TX area in various settings like homes, clinics, or schools.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Implement behavior intervention and skill acquisition programs as written by a supervising BCBA.
  • Collect and record accurate data on client behaviors and progress during sessions.
  • Assist with conducting assessments and helping to prepare client progress reports.
  • Maintain a positive, therapeutic environment and use proactive strategies to reduce challenging behaviors.
  • Communicate effectively with the clinical team and family members about session outcomes.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma is required; a bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or a related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience working with children or adults with autism or developmental disabilities is highly valued.
  • Willingness to obtain an RBT certification if not already certified; training may be provided.
  • The job involves frequent kneeling, sitting on the floor, and moving quickly. It requires patience, consistency, and emotional resilience.
  • You must have reliable transportation to travel between client locations in Fort Worth, TX.
