About This Role
Alright, let's talk about this driving job. It's for K&B Transportation, and I've been working with them for a while. They're the kind of company that just says what they mean and does what they say. If you're a CDL A driver with at least a year under your belt and you're tired of the runaround, this might be your spot.
The Pay & The Run
You start at 70 cents per mile. On your best weeks, you can pull in around $2,000. Over a year, that can mean up to $90,000.
They guarantee your weekly pay, too; as high as $1,610 minimum. The idea is simple: if you're giving them your time on the road, you're getting paid for it. They have to keep freight moving to make that guarantee work, so they're motivated to keep you running.
The pay can change a bit based on which home time schedule you pick and how much you run. Just so you know.
What You’re Doing & What You Get
- You'll be driving modern Freightliner Cascadia trucks pulling refrigerated trailers. The tractors come with APUs, inverters, and even fridges.
- It's all no touch freight. Your job is to drive; don't worry about loading or unloading.
- A $1,000 sign on bonus hits with your very first paycheck.
- The benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
- You get extra pay for things like drops, detention, and layovers.
- There are bonuses for clean inspections, safety records, and if you refer another driver.
- When you come for orientation? That's on them; free travel, a place to stay, and meals are covered.
What You Need to Bring
- A valid Class A CDL is non negotiable.
- We need at least one year of recent OTR experience driving tractor/trailer combos. If you've hit that one year mark and are done with "student" rates? This is built for that.
