About This Role

Alright, let's talk about this therapist role. I've been placing clinicians for over a decade, and what stands out here is the structure. You're not just in an office all day; you're providing care where it's needed; in homes, communities, or our offices. The work is guided by a unified, trauma informed approach across everything we do.

The core of the job is delivering high quality therapeutic services. That means you'll handle a caseload, providing consistent and comprehensive support to every individual and family assigned to you.

What you'll be doing

  • Start with comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments using standardized tools to figure out what each person needs.
  • You’ll create individualized treatment plans with the individuals, their families, and the rest of the treatment team, setting clear goals.
  • The therapy itself happens in individual, group, and family sessions. You're addressing issues like anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral disorders.
  • Regular contact and follow up are part of it; you're monitoring progress and adjusting plans as things change.
  • The paperwork is real: documenting every interaction, treatment plan, and progress note accurately and on time is a must. It’s all about compliance with our policies and regulations.
  • You won't be working in a vacuum. Collaboration is key; you’re part of a multidisciplinary team providing holistic care. That includes regular team meetings to discuss strategies and progress.
  • Crisis support isn't theoretical. You'll provide immediate intervention during crisis situations, develop safety plans, and coordinate with emergency services when needed.
  • There's an outreach component too. Engaging in community outreach to promote our services and attract new clients is part of the role. You'll also connect people with additional resources they might need.
  • Staying current isn't optional. You’re expected to keep up with best practices and new treatment modalities through ongoing training and professional development.

A couple specific notes

As a licensed clinician here, your NPI number will be used for billing services performed by staff under your supervision. Keeping your credentials current, meeting all training requirements, and providing adequate supervision for your staff are your responsibilities.
