What You'll Actually Do
This Sleep Technologist role at Essentia Health in Fargo, ND covers the full spectrum of sleep disorder testing. You'll work with patients ranging from pediatrics all the way through adults. Your day to day includes screening patients and scheduling appointments by phone, running polysomnograms, and educating patients both during their admission and after. You'll also take part in case reviews and treatment planning with physicians, and help arrange home therapy when it's prescribed.
Schedule
You'll work three nights per week, 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. That's 72 hours per pay period ; a permanent night rotation. Weekends might come into play on Friday or Sunday nights. There's a $5.50 per hour night shift differential on top of your base pay.
What You Need
- Graduation from an accredited respiratory care or respiratory therapy program, or hold a current RPSGT licensure
- A credential as a Registered Respiratory Therapist, Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician with current RCP state licensure, or RPSGT licensure
Pay
Compensation ranges from $28.40 to $42.60 per hour.
