NICU RN

The Role

Essentia Health's NICU in Fargo, ND is looking for a Registered Nurse who can organize and deliver nursing care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. You'll delegate aspects of care to other nursing personnel based on their licensure, preparation, and job descriptions. This role also coordinates lactation education and support across the nursing division.

Every day, you'll contribute to the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia Health. You'll meet the requirements of the Joint Commission and any other federal, state, or local regulatory agencies.

What You'll Need

• A BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing
• Current nursing licensure in the state(s) where you'll be employed
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month of starting
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within one year of starting
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is required when moving to level 3 NICU RN ; that happens after two years of employment, or longer as approved by the manager

Schedule & Compensation

This is a 0.75 FTE position with a rotating shift pattern: days, evenings, and nights. Shift start and end times vary. You'll earn between $37.10 and $55.65 per hour.

Sign On Bonus

Eligible experienced and new grad RNs can receive a $7,500 sign on bonus for Associate RNs, or $10,000 for Bachelor RNs, with a work commitment.
