MRI Technologist

What You'll Be Doing

You'll perform MRI scans on patients of all ages ; from infants to adults ; for diagnostic and research purposes. This involves using advanced computer assisted imaging systems for digital recording and analysis. You'll also administer ionizing radiation for CT procedures using the same kind of sophisticated digital systems. Patient care is a big piece of this: you'll need to interact with people in ways that work for their specific age group, using established techniques to keep them safe and comfortable.

What You Need

• Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Registration in MRI by the ARRT within two years of hire or transfer into this position
• If you're working in North Dakota, a current Radiographer license plus a conditional or active Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist registry from the North Dakota Imaging & Radiation Therapy Board of Examiners (NDMIRT) at the time of hire
• Prior experience as a CT and/or MRI Technologist is preferred, but not required

Schedule

This is a PRN (as needed) position. The shift rotation is Flex D/E/N, meaning days, evenings, or nights depending on what's needed. Shift start and end times vary. Hours per pay period are PRN, so there's no set weekly commitment.

Compensation

The pay range is $36.01 to $54.02 per hour.
