CRNA at Avera Health - Fargo, ND

This is a day shift CRNA role at Avera Milbank Area Hospital in Fargo, ND. It's full time, regular hours, and you'd be working with a multidisciplinary team that handles patients across all acuity levels. You'll cover surgical, obstetrical, diagnostic, therapeutic, and pain management procedures. There's a sign on bonus option available.

What you'll actually do

• Perform a pre operative patient assessment and determine the plan of care ; then communicate that plan to the patient and their family.
• Establish and maintain essential venous access.
• Ensure the airway is established and maintained throughout the procedure.
• Induct the patient into anesthesia, maintain it properly during the procedure, and monitor them closely.
• Complete the anesthesia process and manage emergence from anesthesia.
• Transfer care to appropriate staff once the procedure ends.
• Do post operative follow up for every case you perform.
• Act as a clinical instructor for anesthesia students when they're rotating through.

What you need to bring

• A Certified Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) license ; active in the state of practice, obtained upon hire.
• A Registered Nurse (RN) license ; also active in the state of practice, also upon hire.
• CERTIFIED Registered Nurse Anesthetist credential from NBCRNA ; again upon hire is fine if you don't already have it active in this state across all three certifications.
• The ability to work day shift hours consistently.
• Visual acuity adequate for performing position duties safely and accurately.
• The ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds during procedures and conversations with patients or staff members around monitoring equipment alarms etcetera .
