What You'll Be Doing

You're selling our core services: commercial waste removal, disposal, and recycling. That means getting out there, building your own book of business from the ground up.

  • Putting together bids and weekly call reports is part of the routine.
  • A lot of your time is spent on the phone and in person with both potential and current customers.
  • You'll be involved with local non profits, business associations, and trade shows to build connections.
  • Keeping track of contract dates and any customer issues is key.
  • When a customer has a special request, you're the point person working with our operations team to make it happen.

What You Need to Bring

We need someone who's already done this dance for a few years. A college degree gives you a real edge here.

  • A solid three years (or more) of outside, business to business sales experience is mandatory.
  • If you've sold in the solid waste industry before, that's a huge plus.
  • You have to manage your own time effectively. Nobody will be micromanaging your calendar.
  • Show up on time. Be organized. Communicate clearly.
  • You need to be comfortable using standard computer programs for all the daily work.
  • A personal vehicle you can rely on for getting around Fall River, MA is required.
