EMT

EMT Security Officer

Securitas needs an EMT to work at client sites in Evansville, IN. This isn't a full time ambulance role ; it's primarily a security position where you'll use your medical training when it's needed. You'll get a $250 sign on bonus after 90 days, another $250 after 6 months, and a final $500 after one year. That's $1,000 total.

The wage is $19.50 an hour.

What you'll do

• Administer first aid when someone gets hurt or sick at the client site
• Arrange transport for injured or ill people to a medical facility
• Work as part of the emergency medical team during incidents
• Keep the premises safe by actively monitoring for anything unusual
• Inspect emergency equipment to make sure it's all working
• Enforce rules and regulations for the client site ; that covers personnel, visitors, and the general area
• Provide customer service and give information to the client's employees and customers

What you need

• Kentucky EMT certification ; that's a must
• A valid driver's license
• Good communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Dependability and reliability
• Good people skills

Just a heads up: this role is mostly security work with limited EMT responsibilities. It's not a traditional EMS gig.
