About This Role
Hey there. I'm putting this out for a Pediatric Charge Nurse role in El Paso, TX. It's not just another staff job; you'd be the RN in charge on a pediatric unit. If your background is in leadership; like Assistant Manager, Clinical Coordinator, Supervisor, or anything up the chain; you should really take a look.
The Work
You'll run the shift for the pediatric department. That means coordinating patient care, making assignments, and being the go to resource for the team. You're accountable for the unit's flow and safety during your hours.
- Overseeing daily operations on a pediatric floor.
- Acting as a clinical resource and point of contact for nursing staff.
- Ensuring high quality patient care standards are met.
What You Need to Have
The non negotiables are pretty clear. You need the right credentials and Texas wants its paperwork in order.
- An RN Diploma or a higher degree from an accredited nursing school.
- A current Texas Registered Nurse license that's active and unencumbered.
- Experience in a nursing leadership role is what they're after. Think Charge Nurse, Assistant Nurse Manager, Clinical Nurse Coordinator, Supervisor, Manager, or Director.
Schedule & Pay
The schedule is day shift. They have full time, part time, and per diem openings so we can talk about what fits. The pay range is $48,830 to $90,210 per year. There's also a sign on bonus on the table.
The Good Stuff (Benefits)
The hospital offers a solid package. It's one of their selling points.
- Healthcare coverage with medical, dental, and vision plans.
- A 401(k) plan for retirement.
- Paid Time Off.
- Tuition assistance if you want to advance your education.
- Life insurance coverage.
