The Job
Hospitals across El Paso, TX that partner with Incredible Health are hiring a Registered Nurse – Lactation Consultant right now. If you've worked in delivery, nursery care, or c section assistance, this is the kind of role where your experience matters. Night shifts are available, and you can choose between full time, part time, or per diem schedules.
What You'll Do
You'll be the go to person for breastfeeding support in a hospital setting. Daily work includes:
- Assisting with c sections when needed
- Supporting deliveries and fetal NST monitoring
- Providing nursery care for newborns
- Being on call as the schedule requires
- Working closely with midwives and other nursing staff
What You Need
You need an RN Diploma degree or higher from an accredited nursing school. You also need an active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license for the state of Texas. Beyond that, experience in any of these areas is strongly preferred: c section assistance, delivery, fetal NST, midwifery support, nursery care, or on call availability.
