Food Service Worker

Hey there. We're hiring a Food Service Supervisor for our correctional facility team in El Paso, TX. If you've got experience running a kitchen crew and you're looking for a steady, full time position where the work matters, I'd like to tell you about this role.

The Work

You'll be the one on the floor, directly overseeing everything that comes out of the kitchen. This isn't a desk job; you're in the mix, supervising the daily prep, cooking, and portioning of meals.

• Your main focus is making sure meals are prepared correctly, following our recipes and meeting all our contractual requirements.
• You're accountable for the quality of every dish served.
• The team looks to you for hands on direction to get the day's service done right.

What You Need to Bring

A few things are non negotiable. You have to have supervised multiple employees before. I need someone who's organized and knows how to communicate clearly with a team. You also need a sharp eye for detail and solid knowledge of food service operations.

A couple things that would really make you stand out? A Food Handler’s certification is a big plus. An advanced degree in culinary arts or something related would also be fantastic.

Schedule & Pay

This is a full time, onsite position. The pay is $15.00 per hour.
