Cath Lab Technologist

So here's the gig

We're staffing a Cath Lab Technologist for a 13 week travel contract in El Paso, TX. This is a day shift position, 7a to 5p, working 120 hours over 4 shifts each week. Your schedule runs Monday through Friday, with one random day off during the week. There's a holiday rotation you'll be part of. And about call ; you'll take one night during the week and every 3rd weekend, which runs from 7p Friday through 7a Monday.

What you'll actually be doing

• Scrubbing independently and proficiently during procedures
• Working with structural heart cases
• Handling interventional radiology and EP procedures as they come up
• Operating peripheral vascular cases
• Using EPIC as the EMR system
• Functioning as a key part of a cath lab team on a rotating schedule

What you need to bring

• An active Iowa license
• At least 2 years of minimum experience in Cath Lab
• Travel experience within the previous 18 months
• ARRT or CCI/RCIS certification
• AHA BLS certification
• Structural heart experience ; that's preferred
• Interventional Radiology experience ; also preferred
• EP experience ; preferred too
• Peripheral vascular experience ; preferred as well
• You need to be able to scrub independently and proficiently
