What you'll be doing

You're assessing patient condition on admission and every single shift. Identifying and reporting changes in status is core to the job.
Performing procedures and functions as ordered by the medical provider.
Documenting care administration thoroughly and in a timely way in the patient's medical record.
Administering prescribed medications and monitoring patient response.
Keeping your knowledge sharp on medications, procedures, and all the equipment used for cardiac and medical surgical patients.

What you need to bring

A current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
An Associate Degree in Nursing.
You must obtain your Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of starting.
You also need to get your Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within your first 30 days on the job.

The schedule & place

This is a full time position at Del Sol Medical Center in El Paso, TX. It's a full service, acute care hospital with over 300 beds and a Level II trauma designation. The facility handles everything from emergency and cardiac care to women's services, a Level III NICU, rehab, and bariatric services. You'll be part of Las Palmas Del Sol Healthcare, which is part of HCA Healthcare.
