Account Executive

Securitas Technology sells and installs commercial security systems. We're part of the larger Securitas group, and we do this all over the world. The job is remote; you'll work from a home office in the El Paso, TX area, but you won't be stuck there. You'll be out meeting people.

What you'll do

This is a pure sales role focused on finding new business. Your main goal is to get in front of decision makers at national and large regional companies. You'll set the appointments, you'll give the presentations on our electronic security products and services, and you'll close the deals.

• Hunt for new accounts and build relationships to capture market share.
• Generate your own leads through cold calling and networking.
• Travel extensively throughout your assigned territory.
• Develop strategies for outsourcing entire service accounts.
• Negotiate contracts.

And here's a nice perk: once you sell it, our design team handles all the technical system planning. You get to focus on selling.

What you need to bring

We need someone who's done this before in our specific industry. A general sales background isn't enough.

• A solid five years selling commercial electronic security solutions. Not residential; commercial.
• Another five years of hitting or beating high sales quotas with similar large accounts.
• A proven track record with cold calls, networking, and creating your own leads.
• Experience selling consultative service solutions, not just hardware.
• You've got to be organized and detail oriented because you're managing complex deals.
• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills are non negotiable; you're the face of the company.
• A bachelor's degree is preferred, but we'll look hard at your experience first.

The details

The pay structure is built for producers. You get a generous base salary plus commission on product sales. You also earn recurring revenue from our service packages, which builds over time. We provide benefits typical of a large company; ask about them when we talk.
