The Role
Epic Special Education Staffing is partnering with a school district in Detroit, MI that needs a contract School Psychologist for the 2026–2027 school year. This placement covers Pre K through High School, so you’d be working across elementary, middle, and high school levels, plus kindergarten.
Schedule & Compensation
It’s a full time, on site role at 37.50 hours per week. The weekly pay range sits between $40.00 and $46.00 per hour on a local contract. The assignment starts ASAP and runs through 05/27/2027.
- $2,000 Completion Bonus if you commit to and finish the full school year assignment (30+ hours/week).
- Up to $3,000 in referral bonuses ; $1,000 per referral.
What You'll Do
Honestly? You'll do what you're trained to do ; assess students, consult with staff and families, help shape intervention plans, and support kids from Pre K through high school who need psychological services in the school setting.

Requirements
- A valid School Psychologist credential or license in the state of practice ; or be actively in the process of getting one.
One major thing: you need at least 1 year of verifiable professional experience as a School Psychologist within the last 3 years. That can include residency or clinical practicum time. This position does not offer visa sponsorship. You must be legally authorized to work in the United States already.
