About This Role

Warehouse Supervisor – Conagra Brands, Denver, CO

This role reports to the Supply Chain Manager and runs the warehouse floor at our Denver, CO plant. You'll supervise all the moving parts that keep raw materials flowing to production lines and finished goods shipping out the door. It's a hands on leadership job where you're responsible for people, processes, and safety every day.

What you'll actually do

Coordinate warehousing operations so production gets what it needs, when it needs it. That means managing loading, unloading, and scheduling for both raw ingredients and finished product ; all to hit plant and corporate targets. You'll oversee shipping and receiving to make sure customer orders and material handling are done right.

  • Keep inventory rotation and hold programs running properly
  • Champion inventory control discipline ; FIFO, timely cycle counts, quick disposition of questionable stock, and watching for obsolete or slow moving inventory
  • Enforce plant safety programs and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) across the warehouse
  • Watch the floor and your team for unsafe conditions or work habits and eliminate them
  • Monitor equipment, submit work orders for repairs, and recommend changes that make operations safer
  • Train team members on safety procedures including forklift and hand jack operation, loading methods, and trailer operation
  • Train, motivate, and monitor your team's performance ; recognize good work and take corrective action when needed
  • Drive cost reduction through labor controls, damage reduction, and implementing tools and methods that boost productivity

What you need to bring

First, at least 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. You also need 2+ years supervising or leading teams ; this isn't an entry level supervisor gig.

  • Solid experience with ERP systems and MS Word & Excel
  • A self starter who can juggle multiple tasks and lead others through them
  • Food processing, manufacturing, or warehousing experience is a plus
  • You communicate well, solve problems, stay organized, and handle people issues
  • High school diploma or GED is required; a four year college degree is preferred

Pay and compensation

The salary range for this position is $63,000 to $93,000. Your actual pay will depend on location, your relevant experience and skill level, and internal equity with other Conagra employees. Conagra follows applicable law for minimum salaries for exempt roles.

Relocation assistance is available, but preference goes to local candidates.
