The Work

You'll be performing vascular ultrasound exams. It's hands on patient care at the top of your scope. You're expected to be a model of proficiency; part of that involves helping to precept folks who are new to the system. What You Need to Bring

  • You must be a graduate from an accredited Ultrasound Technologist program.
  • Your registry is non negotiable, but there are a few paths that qualify: Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) through ARDMS; or registered as a Technologist (RT) with certification in Vascular Sonography (VS) through ARRT; or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) from CCI.
  • A current BLS certification is required before you start. It needs to be from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer program, and it must be valid for at least sixty days after your hire date.

No minimum years of experience are required if you've got the right education and credentials.

This is a PRN role in the Peripheral Vascular Lab at Memorial Hospital Central in Denver, CO. Your FTE is 0.0, scheduled for 0.00 hours per two week pay period; again, that's the PRN structure. Shifts are flexible.

UCHealth has a three year incentive bonus program. It builds up each October and pays out after you hit your three year anniversary, based on contributions to quality, patient experience, and other goals.
