Hey there. Cherrelyn Healthcare Center in Denver, CO needs an Occupational Therapist Assistant. The Work

You'll be working directly with patients and Occupational Therapists on rehabilitative care. It's about helping people improve their strength, balance, and mobility.

• Assist OTs in providing therapy services.
• Guide patients through exercises and activities.
• Your observations matter; you'll document patient progress and report it back to the therapist.
• Teaching patients and their families how to do exercises or use equipment correctly is a big part of the job.
• You'll talk with nurses and other healthcare staff to coordinate care.
• Keeping treatment areas clean and organized is essential.
• Following all healthcare protocols and safety standards isn't optional; it's how we operate.
• The field changes, so they encourage participation in ongoing training to keep your skills sharp.

What You Need to Bring

A few things are non negotiable here. You must have an active state license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant before you apply. That's alongside your other credentials.

• An Associate's degree from an Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• That active Colorado COTA license is required; we can't consider applications without it.
• At least one year of experience working as an OTA.
• You need a solid grasp of therapy techniques and principles.
• The job requires physical stamina. You'll be helping patients move, lifting equipment, and doing repetitive tasks.
• The ability to work well on your own but also collaborate with the whole team is key.

Pay & Benefits

The pay range is $33 to $35 per hour, paid out every two weeks. It's a full time position with a benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance. You get paid time off and there's a retirement savings plan available too.
