
About This Role
Home Health Aide
This role isn't what you'd expect. You're not stuck in a facility all day. As a SAFE Home Study Evaluator with Clarvida, you'll work out in the community across Denver, CO ; meeting families where they live, doing real assessments that affect foster, adoptive, and kinship placements. It's contract work, project based, built for someone who wants flexible income without the rigid 9 to 5.
What You'll Actually Do
- Conduct SAFE home studies for foster, foster to adopt, kinship, and ICPC families
- Travel to families' homes in Denver, CO to assess safety, stability, and how prepared they are
- Gather and analyze family history, environmental factors, and background information
- Write detailed reports with your recommendations that courts will actually use for decisions
- Make sure everything stays in line with Volume 7 regulations and state requirements
- Keep your documentation accurate and timely ; no sloppy notes here
- Communicate professionally with families, court personnel, and your internal team
What You Need to Bring
- A Bachelor's degree ; Social Work, Psychology, or Sociology is preferred, but we'll look at related fields too
- You must be bilingual in English and Spanish ; that's a hard requirement
- Completion of the 2 day SAFE Home Study Training with an active SAFE certificate
- Knowledge of Volume 7 regulations for foster, adoptive, kinship, and ICPC home studies ; but we'll train you if you're not fully up to speed yet
- Solid skills with Microsoft Office and basic computer systems
- The ability to work independently and juggle multiple projects without someone hovering over you
Compensation and Schedule
This is a contract, project based position. You'll earn $30 per hour. There's also extra pay built in for updates you write, expedited requests you handle, and bilingual services. The scheduling is flexible ; you pick when to work. It's designed to be a solid part time or supplemental income gig.
