About This Role

The Role

Denver Endoscopy Center needs a PRN Endoscopy Nurse for Denver, CO. This isn't a typical floor nursing gig; you're working specifically with surgical and GI patients during their procedures. You'll be responsible for planning and delivering safe, effective nursing care from the moment a patient enters your care until they're transferred to recovery. You'll also take on circulating or scrub duties for patients of all ages.

What You'll Actually Do

  • Know your surgical and GI procedures inside and out; you'll oversee instrument and equipment setup
  • Coordinate and run the room during cases as the circulator
  • Keep transitions between procedures efficient so the schedule moves
  • Work with preference cards and update them as needed

What You Need

  • A Nursing Diploma
  • At least 2 years of experience; work in an ambulatory surgery center is a plus
  • An active RN license or appropriate compact licensure
  • Valid BCLS Certification before you start ; and they won't accept an online only cert
  • ACLS certification as required by the facility
  • CNOR or SGNA certification? That's preferred but not required

Pay Range

The hourly wage for this role in Denver, CO is estimated at $37.07 to $55.63. Your actual pay will depend on your specific skills, how many years of experience you bring, and how you stack up against other employees in the role. Most candidates are hired below the midpoint of that range.

About the Center

Denver Endoscopy Center opened in 2004. We're on the east side of Denver, a state certified ambulatory surgical center accredited by the AAAHC.
