About This Role

A word about this job

I've been writing these posts for over a decade, and I like to be straight with you. This isn't some desk job where you answer emails all day. You're out on the road, making deliveries, talking to customers face to face, and getting your hands dirty. If that sounds more interesting than staring at a screen for eight hours, keep reading.

What you'll actually do

You're the person who gets product from our distribution center in Denver, CO to the bars, restaurants, and stores that sell it. It's more physical than most people think.

  • Inspect your truck before and after every shift ; log it, note anything wrong, report what needs fixing.
  • Keep the vehicle safe and follow company policies plus all highway rules and regulations.
  • Use a dolly or hand truck to manually unload product at each account location.
  • Listen to customer concerns and resolve them on the spot; you're their connection to us.
  • Collect payments when needed and make sure your receipts match your delivery invoice.
  • Pick up empty containers along with any rejected or unsold merchandise from customers.
  • Your supervisor may ask you to take on other duties from time to time; that's the nature of this work.

The basics you need

  • A valid CDL A or B ; no exceptions there.
  • One to two years of related delivery experience under your belt already.
  • The ability to lift cases weighing 45 65 pounds regularly ; that's the average weight you'll handle every day.
  • Sit, stand, bend, squat, reach frequently throughout the shift. Climb into and out of the truck frequently too.
  • Sometimes lift up to 160 pounds (not every day but occasionally).
  • Talking and hearing are part of every customer interaction. You'll use your hands and fingers constantly for driving and using tech devices like phones or tablets.

A few things that matter

Good communication skills go a long way here because you talk with customers all day long. And solid problem solving paired with attention to detail makes a real difference when things get busy. Being bilingual is a nice extra ; we'd love it if you speak another language ; but it's not required for this role.

The schedule and pay

$30.18 an hour starting out. That's hourly rate only ; no salary guesswork here. The schedule runs Tuesday through Friday so you work four days each week with strong overtime potential built in because those days tend to run long. Plus two annual pay increases come automatically which is rare in this industry honestly.

The benefits part

  • Full medical coverage
  • Dental insurance included
