The Gig

This is a server role at Fricker’s in Dayton, OH. You’ll work in a spot that’s equal parts fun, food, sports, and spirits. The place has energy, and you'll meet plenty of people. We handle the food and drinks on our end; you bring the personality.

What You'll Actually Do

• Greet people when they walk in ; bring some enthusiasm right from the start.
• Know the menu well enough to suggest specials and answer questions.
• Enter orders into the POS system without missing a beat.
• Run food to tables and check back to make sure everything's going great.
• Pre bus and bus tables as you go.
• Handle guest checks, cash, and credit cards accurately.
• Thank every guest sincerely and invite them back.
• Check IDs per state and local law, and serve alcohol responsibly.
• Help out other servers and managers around the dining room when needed.
