You're the first face people see when they walk in, and the last one they see before they leave. That's a big deal. At Fricker's Vandalia 108, LLC in Dayton, OH, we need someone who can nail that first impression and send folks off happy.

What You'll Actually Do

• Greet every guest when they arrive; tell them about specials and events going on
• Say thanks as they are leaving, and mean it when you invite them back
• Manage a waiting list when it gets busy, seat people, bus tables, and give servers a hand
• Answer phone calls without putting people on hold forever
• Enter carry out orders into the POS system ; and don't forget to suggestive sell while you're at it
• Make sure those carry out orders are correct before you handle money or process payments
• Help out servers and managers anywhere in the dining room that needs it
• Make sure every single guest walks out happy. Not most of them. Every single one.

The Stuff We Need From You

• A positive attitude ; that's non negotiable
• A sharp uniform every time you come to work. No exceptions.
• Flexibility when something unexpected comes up (it always does)
• A real desire to keep getting better at your job ; we notice effort here
• Willingness to follow company policies and procedures (they exist for a reason)
• The ability to just be yourself and have some fun while working hard
• A valid driver's license or reliable way to get here every shift
• The flexibility to work various days and hours (mornings, nights, weekends)
