Lean Manufacturing Engineer – HVAC Industry
We're helping our client, a recognized leader in HVAC technology, find a Lean Manufacturing Engineer for their Dallas, TX operations. This isn't a paperwork role ; you'll be on the floor leading real process improvements. What You'll Own
This position exists to optimize how things get built. You're not just identifying problems ; you're implementing solutions that stick.
- Lead process improvement projects that directly impact production throughput and quality
- Apply lean manufacturing tools to reduce waste and improve workflow across assembly lines
- Collaborate with production, tooling, and process engineering teams to keep things running smoothly
- Analyze labor, materials, and performance data to guide decisions ; not guesses
- Run cross functional improvement initiatives that bring together operators, engineers, and managers
- Support CNC programming efforts when needed (knowledge preferred, not required)
- Use Autodesk Inventory for tracking and planning (experience preferred)
What You'll Bring
We need someone who's been in the trenches, not just read about it in a textbook. Here's what counts:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field
- 3+ years of hands on experience in a manufacturing environment ; sheet metal fabrication experience is highly preferred
- Proven track record using lean manufacturing tools and methods ; we're looking for real results, not just buzzwords
- You've supported production, tooling, or process engineering initiatives before
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, workflow optimization, and lean methodologies
- Strong analytical skills ; you can look at labor, materials, and performance data and see what's really going on
- Ability to lead cross functional teams through improvement efforts from start to finish
- CNC programming knowledge is a plus, and experience with Autodesk Inventory is also preferred
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: $85,000 – $105,000 per year. Flexible for the right candidate
