The Work

This is a landscaping role based in Dallas, TX where you'll take care of outdoor spaces for commercial properties. You'll handle all the regular stuff like mowing, trimming edges along walkways and flower beds, and cutting lawns. But there's more to it than that. You'll also plant bushes and flowers, prune shrubs and trees, and apply lawn care chemicals when needed.

When winter hits, you'll switch gears to snow removal and spreading salt on walks, roads, and parking lots. You'll use ice melter and road sand, too. It's a physical job that changes with the seasons.

What You'll Actually Do Day to Day

• Maintain property grounds including leaf removal, fertilizing, lawn care, and watering
• Remove litter and empty trash cans
• Clean roads, parking lots, and walks to keep them safe for pedestrian and vehicular traffic
• Use manual and automatic watering systems to keep plants properly watered
• Establish new plants and plantings in landscape beds and through greenhouse culture
• Perform basic carpentry and painting tasks as needed
• Remove ice and snow from walks, roads, and lots
• Do safety checks on equipment and flag any needed changes to your leader
• Clean up spills including body fluids, keeping work areas safe during and after projects
• Make sure mowers, blowers, and sprinkler systems are maintained properly

What You Need

You have to be at least 18 years old. You also need a valid driver's license. That's it for hard requirements. No high school diploma, GED, or college degree is needed. No previous experience is required either ; they provide on the job training. This is a good fit if you're just entering the workforce or coming back to it after some time away.
