The Gig
This is a Lab Specialist role at Methodist Health System, out of Dallas, TX. It's a PRN position ; meaning you work as needed, with a schedule that includes flex weekends and weekdays, typically 6 to 12 hours per shift.
You'll be in a technical lab environment, running tests and providing accurate results that directly impact patient care. It's a role where your precision and speed matter, and you're working alongside a team of multidisciplinary professionals who rely on each other to get things right.

What You Need to Bring
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Medical Technology or a related specialty
- Or any equivalent combination of experience and education that gives you comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities
- If you were educated outside the United States, you'll need a translation of that education (an equivalency statement from a business that does that) that shows it meets the above requirements
- Certification or registry eligibility as a Medical Technologist is required
- If you hold ASCP certifications from after January 2004 or AMT certifications from after January 2006, you must keep them current through continuing education as those associations require
- Certified MT work experience is expected

Methodist Dallas Medical Center is a 595 bed acute care teaching and referral hospital. It's the flagship of Methodist Health System and the only adult Level I Trauma Center in southern Dallas.
