About This Role
The Role
We're hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse to care for a toddler in the Dallas, TX area. This case involves feeding tube management, medication administration, and colostomy care ; and we'll train you on anything you haven't done before.
Schedule & Setting
The shift runs Sunday through Saturday, 2pm to 9pm. It's in the patient's home in Dallas, TX. You're working with one specific client, not bouncing between houses.
What You'll Actually Do
- Administer medications through the feeding tube
- Provide daily colostomy care (training is available if this is new to you)
- Monitor the toddler's condition and report changes
- Document everything on a tablet that stays in the home
- Work closely with the family and our clinical support team
What You Need
- A current, active LPN or LVN license in Louisiana (compact licenses must transfer within 90 days)
- A current CPR card with a hands on component ; we can help you get this after hire if needed
- A TB skin test completed within the last 12 months
- Reliable transportation to get to the Dallas, TX home
- Six months of hands on nursing experience is preferred but not required; we'll train the right person
