Finance Manager Dallas, TX ; Global Shared Services
Brinks is a global company. We handle cash, valuables, digital retail, and ATM services for banks, retailers, governments, and jewelers in over 50 countries. This Finance Manager role sits inside our Global Shared Services (GSS) organization. You report to the VRO GSS Finance Director.
This isn't just a number crunching job. You act as a real business partner to the GSS Leadership Team. They need you to bring financial transparency and performance insights so they can make smart decisions as GSS grows. You'll turn complex data into something leaders can actually use. It's about connecting operational strategy with financial outcomes.
What you'll actually do
- Serve as the finance business partner to the GSS Leadership Team. Provide financial leadership, decision support, and performance transparency as the organization scales.
- Deliver insights that link operational strategies and delivery decisions to financial results. Help executives evaluate tradeoffs effectively.
- Build and govern business case models and financial trackers for service delivery transitions. Keep assumptions, phasing, one time costs, and benefits realization accurate and current.
- Produce monthly variance to business case reporting and maintain exception logs for strong governance.
- Manage the GSS budget alongside the VRO GSS Finance Director. Own annual planning cycles, forecasts, actuals tracking, variance analysis, and actionable recommendations.
- Partner with GSS leadership and BPO leadership to design an effective cost governance model for managing delivery fees.
- Establish processes to review Change Requests, assess financial impacts, and ensure approved decisions show up correctly in forecasts and budgets.
- Coordinate severance accruals for Transformation programs across local teams ; consistent accounting treatment audit ready documentation compliance with internal controls everything matters here.
- Develop maintain and execute GSS cost allocation methodologies in partnership with GSS leadership.
- Deliver transparent cost to serve reporting for Market Units Functions any internal customer who needs clarity on what they're spending where it's going how they could consume differently next time around
The experience we need
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance Accounting Business or something closely related MBA CPA preferred but not mandatory from day one
- 5 to 8 years of progressive work specifically in FP&A finance business partnering or corporate finance
- You've built business cases before long term financial models supporting strategic or transformation initiatives that kind of depth matters here
- Budget management forecasting inside complex matrixed org structures this should feel familiar not foreign territory
- A solid grip on variance analysis executive level reporting that actually drives decisions not just fills slide decks full of numbers nobody reads anyway
