Dental Hygienist

Hey Wylie. We're looking for a dental hygienist to join us at Wylie Dental Associates on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays. It's a part time gig, 7am to 5pm.

What you'll do here

You're the main person for patient care during hygiene visits. That means you have the time and the clinical freedom to do things right.

• Provide dental cleanings and patient screenings.
• Document medical histories thoroughly.
• Educate patients on their oral health and preventative care.
• You'll be using some modern tech; we prefer experience with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital x rays, and electronic records.

What you need to bring

• A current Texas dental hygienist license is mandatory.
• An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene, where required.
• Your CPR Certification needs to be current.
• A solid working knowledge of dentistry and hygiene procedures is essential.
• You should be able to lift about 45 pounds, and you'll be on your feet a good bit.

The practical stuff

The schedule is set: Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays from 7am to 5pm. The practice is at 611 W Brown Street, Suite 100 in Dallas, TX (that's Wylie, TX 75098).
