
About This Role
The Role
This is a CVOR RN position at Methodist Health System, based out of Dallas, TX. You'll work 12 hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, three days a week. The specific days will be determined later.
What You'll Actually Do
You're a registered nurse providing professional and technical care to patients in the cardiovascular operating room. This isn't a small gig ; you'll use the full nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You'll direct and supervise other team members on your shift, and you'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary crew to make sure every patient gets age appropriate care that matches unit standards.
What You Need
- A diploma from an accredited school of professional nursing; BSN is preferred but not required
- A current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Any additional certifications your department requires ; those vary by unit
- A current license to practice professional nursing in Texas (or proof you can get one)
- At least 12 months of RN experience under your belt
