About This Role
Alright, let's talk about the job. It's for a Customer Service Representative in our Dallas, TX office. You're going to be on site, in the building.
The Work
You're the first person our customers talk to when they call. They've got questions about their bill, they need to make a change to their policy, or they just want some advice. Your whole job is to help them out and show them what it means to be insured with us.
It's straightforward, but it matters. You solve a problem for someone, you answer their question clearly, and you send them on their way feeling better than when they called. That's the goal every single time.
What You Need To Bring
- A high school diploma or the equivalent. That's the baseline.
- Real experience giving good customer service. The kind where people trust you and walk away happy.
- You know how to listen. Actually hear what someone is saying, and respond with some empathy.
- This is a call center. The phones ring a lot, and things move quickly. You need to be okay in that environment, and willing to adapt as things change.
- Feedback isn't a bad thing here; it's how you get better at your job. Be open to it.
- You'll be on a computer, talking on the phone, and looking up information all at once. Solid multitasking isn't just a nice to have; it's how you get through the day.
The Schedule & Pay
The starting rate is $20 an hour, which comes out to $41,600 for the year if you're full time.
But that's just where you start. Plenty of people here see their base pay go up by 10% in their first year alone. If you're really good at this, those increases can be as high as 15%.
We also have shift differentials. If your schedule has you working evenings that qualify, that's an extra 10% on top of your hourly rate. Work qualifying hours on the weekend? That's an extra 20% per hour.
