This is a PRN (as needed) Cath Lab RN position at Methodist Mansfield Medical Center in Dallas, TX. You'll work Monday through Friday, starting at 7:00 AM. It's not a full time or part time schedule; you pick up shifts when they need you.

What You'll Actually Do

You're a registered nurse who handles both direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process ; assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. That's the core of it. You'll also be responsible for patient and family education, making sure everyone understands what's going on. And you'll keep the environment safe for patients, yourself, your coworkers, and the facility itself.

  • Give medications and IVs safely and accurately
  • Document patient information completely and on time
  • Communicate clearly with your team, patients, and families
  • Take initiative for your own performance and professional growth
  • Use the nursing process to keep quality care consistent throughout each episode of care
  • Other duties as assigned ; that's always part of hospital work

What You Need to Bring

The basics are straightforward but non negotiable. Here's what's required:

  • A diploma from an accredited school of nursing
  • A current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • A current Texas RN license ; or eligibility to get one before starting
  • At least six months of RN experience under your belt
