The Opportunity

Epic Special Education Staffing is looking for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for the 2026–2027 school year. We're partnering with an exceptional school district in Dallas, TX to fill this contract role. If you want to work with elementary, kindergarten, and middle school students, this one's worth looking at.

The schedule is full time at 35 hours a week. You'd start as soon as possible and go through November 23, 2026. This is a hybrid position ; some on site, some remote.

What You'll Do Day to Day

  • Develop and oversee behavior intervention plans for students across elementary, kindergarten, and middle school grade levels
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to implement strategies that support student growth
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and write reports based on your findings
  • Monitor data collection and adjust interventions as needed to make sure they're working
  • Provide training and guidance to paraprofessionals and other team members on ABA principles
  • Attend IEP meetings to contribute behavioral expertise and help set measurable goals
  • Work within a hybrid model ; splitting time between direct student support in schools and remote planning or documentation

Pay & Bonuses

The weekly pay range for this local contract role is $42.75 – $49.16 per hour. On top of that, there's a $2,000 Completion Bonus for eligible clinicians who commit to at least 30 hours per week and finish their full school year assignment. And you can earn up to $3,000 in referral bonuses when you bring other great people along with you.

Who Should Apply: Minimum Qualifications

  • A minimum of 1 year of verifiable professional experience as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst within the past 3 years. That might include residency or clinical practicum if it was hands on enough.
  • A valid BCBA credential or license in the state where you'll be practicing ; or active progress toward obtaining it counts too.

  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or later; we aren't able to sponsor employment visas or take over existing sponsorships.
