
About This Role
The Gist
This is an X Ray Technologist role at OhioHealth in Columbus, OH. You're doing diagnostic radiology procedures ; plain x rays, fluoroscopy, and working in more than one imaging modality. Night shift, 36 hours a week, in the Emergency Department.
What You'll Actually Do
- Prep patients for exams and run diagnostic radiology procedures following OhioHealth and ARRT standards
- Perform routine radiographic studies in diagnostics
- Handle routine and specialized fluoroscopic studies using digital fluoroscope equipment
- Keep proficiency in each imaging area you're trained in
- Make sure radiation safety is covered for both you and the patient
- Position patients properly for each procedure, following department policy
- Stay focused on safety, quality, and efficiency ; this is a High Reliability Organization (HRO)
What You Need to Bring
- ARRT registration ; American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- Ohio Radiographers license from the Ohio Department of Health
- Graduate of an approved accredited radiography program
- Multi modality training or certification in at least 2 of these: diagnostics, CT, MR, US, Dexa, or Mammo

Night shift. Scheduled weekly hours are 36. You'll be working in the Emergency Department at Columbus, OH.
