What You'll Actually Do

• Get to know the Duluth brand inside and out so you can give customers solution oriented, friendly service.
• Keep the customer at the center of everything ; from the greeting at the door to the fitting room experience to ringing them up at the register.
• Layer personalized service into every interaction you have.
• Talk about sales and promotions in a way that makes sense to the person in front of you.
• Capture emails as part of the sales process ; it matters, and you'll do it to standard.
• Handle customer concerns proactively and find positive resolutions. You've got the power to make it right.
• Answer the phone with a courteous, friendly tone. That means store greetings, directions to Columbus, OH, and taking customer orders.
• Help receive, process, and put away merchandise.
• Keep merchandising, presentation, and display standards tight.
• Make sure the sales floor is customer ready, always.
• Maintain cleanliness standards for the sales floor, stockroom, restrooms, cash wrap, and hospitality area.
• Process register transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and practices.
• Take on other duties as management directs.

Who You Are

• You have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Retail experience is preferred, but we're not requiring it. If you've got the right attitude, we can teach the rest.

The Physical Stuff

• Stand or walk for up to eight hours a day. That's the reality.
• Frequent reaching, bending, and twisting ; both below the waist and above the shoulders.
• Frequent use of repetitive hand to finger motions and reaching with hands and arms.
• Lifting up to twenty pounds frequently, and up to forty pounds occasionally.
• Pushing and pulling up to twenty pounds.
• Climb ladders, reach, and bend.
• Work in temperatures ranging from 50 to 85 degrees ; especially in the stockroom areas.
• Use a computer up to 60% of the time throughout the day.

Compensation
