The Job

This isn't just another maintenance gig. You'll be the go to person for a 346 unit apartment community, handling everything that keeps residents happy and their homes in top shape. Every day is different, and you'll actually see the impact of your work.

What You'll Actually Do

You won't be sitting around. Here's the real deal on your day to day:

• Troubleshoot and fix service issues ; HVAC, appliances, carpentry, electrical, plumbing. You name it, you'll probably touch it.
• Keep both the interior and exterior of the property looking sharp and running smooth, following company standards and any applicable laws.
• Respond to maintenance tickets fast and efficiently. Residents are counting on you.
• Talk with residents and office staff about what's getting fixed and when. Clear communication keeps everybody happy.

Schedule & Hours

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM is your regular schedule. But you'll also need to be available for paid, rotating on call duty and ready to handle emergency events when they come up. The schedule can shift based on business needs.

What You Bring

Honestly, if you've got a year of related experience or some solid combination of education and hands on work, you're in the conversation. An HVAC/EPA/CFC certification is preferred but not mandatory. You'll also need a valid driver's license and a personal vehicle, and you've got to live within a 30 minute commute of Columbus, OH.

Pay & Perks

Let's talk numbers and benefits. This is what's on the table:

• Base pay: $19.00 to $22.00 per hour.
• Up to a 50% rent discount on your own apartment here.
• You get a cut of property staff shared renewal commissions.

• On call appreciation pay: $15 per day for holding the on call phone.

A Few Fine Print Things

If you're hired, your total compensation package will be based on factors like where you're located, your skills, education, and experience. That means your actual pay could fall outside the range listed above.
