What you'll do

You'll provide general nursing care to patients and families across the whole health journey, collaborating with the full healthcare team. You're accountable for your nursing practice as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing.

  • You’ll handle assessments. That means performing initial, ongoing, and functional health status evaluations.
  • A big part of the job is planning. Based on nursing diagnoses and collaborative problems, you document the planned interventions to get to the right outcomes.
  • Then you implement and evaluate. You check how patients respond to care, see if goals are met, and work with the team to revise plans when needed.
  • We operate as a High Reliability Organization. So your focus has to be on safety, quality, and efficiency in everything you do.
  • You’ll also participate in process improvement activities. The aim is better clinical quality, customer satisfaction, and financial performance.

What you need to have

The must haves are pretty clear cut.

  • An Associate's Degree is required.
  • You need a current RN license from the Ohio Board of Nursing.
  • BLS - Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association is required (CPR falls under this).
  • The field of study needs to be Nursing.
  • Years of experience? Zero. They're considering new grads for this role.

The schedule & details

This is a night shift position. You're scheduled for 36 hours weekly. You'll be working in the Oncology Unit.
