About This Role
Alright, here's the deal. We're looking for a NICU RN to join us in Columbus, OH. This isn't just another bedside job; you'll be stepping into a leadership role on the unit, working closely with the manager to keep everything running smoothly and ensuring our tiniest patients get exceptional, evidence based care. You'll split your time between direct clinical oversight, managing day to day operations, and helping develop the team.
What You'll Be Doing
Think of yourself as the go to person on shift. You're making sure nursing practice is safe and effective, and that care is documented properly. A big part of your day is coordinating staffing; looking at schedules, allocating nurses based on patient volume and acuity, and helping plan for the next shift. You'll collaborate constantly with other healthcare disciplines to integrate services.
You're also a key resource for process improvement. When there's an issue or a near miss, you'll participate in root cause analysis to figure out what happened and how to prevent it next time. And you'll assist the manager with fiscal responsibility at the unit level, which means being smart about how we use our human and material resources.
Who We're Looking For
- You need an active RN license from the State of Ohio.
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required.
- We need someone with at least three years of recent clinical experience in nursing.
- Experience in a leadership or charge nurse role is a must for this position.
The Schedule & Pay
This is a full time position. You'll work 12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. The pay range for this role is $34.00 to $51.00 per hour, which includes your base rate plus night shift differentials. Your exact offer will be based on your years of relevant experience.
What We Provide
- A comprehensive benefits package that kicks in on your first day.
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance options for you and your family.
- Life insurance and disability coverage.
- A generous retirement plan with employer matching contributions.
- Paid time off you can use for vacation or personal days right away.
- Support for your education with tuition reimbursement after one year.
- Access to wellness programs and employee assistance resources.
A Quick Note
