OhioHealth's Dublin Cancer Center needs a Multi Modality Radiology Technologist. You'll work Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:00a to 4:30p ; that's 24 hours a week.

The sign on bonus is for external applicants and newly licensed internal candidates. It requires a one year work commitment. If you worked here before but have been gone more than 90 days, you're also eligible.

What you'll actually do

  • Run routine diagnostic radiography studies
  • Perform routine and specialized fluoroscopic studies using digital fluoroscope equipment; keep your skills current in each area
  • Make sure radiation safety rules are followed for both patients and yourself
  • Position patients correctly for procedures, following department policy every time
  • As part of a High Reliability Organization (HRO), stay focused on safety, quality, and efficiency while doing your job tasks

The ideal candidate comes with x ray and CT training. That said, the hiring manager will cross train a registered x ray technologist who's ready to learn. You'll be working across multiple modalities ; meaning you need training or certification in at least two of these: diagnostics, CT, MR, US, Dexa, or Mammo.

What you need to bring

  • An Associate's Degree from an accredited radiography program
  • Current ARRT registration (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
  • A valid Ohio Radiographer license from the Ohio Department of Health (ORD)
  • The willingness to perform procedures in more than one imaging modality

The schedule piece

This is a day shift position working three days a week ; Monday, Wednesday, Thursday from 8am until 4:30pm. Scheduled weekly hours total 24.
