HVAC Technician

The Role

In this role, you're the Lead Installer. You keep the project running smoothly and profitably. You'll work with a positive attitude, a drive to exceed client expectations, and a desire to keep learning the trade.

What You'll Actually Do

  • Maintain communication with internal teams.
  • Keep your company truck clean, inside and out.
  • Clearly, effectively, and timely communicate with the HVAC Install Manager and supervisors to review job details.
  • Adapt project work when things change ; interruptions, scope changes, or other unforeseen conditions.
  • Follow installation procedures and processes. Make sure the HVAC Install Apprentice does too.
  • Report labor hours accurately and maintain JIT.
  • Complete the replacement closeout process with 100% accuracy, immediately after the job is done.
  • Properly complete all required paperwork.
  • Embrace development opportunities through ongoing training and one on one coaching.

What You Need

  • A valid driver's license to drive a company vehicle.
  • Universal EPA Certification.
  • At least 3 years of HVAC field installation experience.
  • You can lift loads up to 75 pounds regularly.
  • You're comfortable crawling in tight spaces and climbing ladders. You'll work in attics, garages, crawl spaces, and on roofs.
