Finance Supervisor

What You’ll Actually Do

You’ll work closely with the general manager and controller to keep things running smoothly in Columbus, OH. This isn’t a solo desk job, it’s a small office environment where everyone pitches in. You’ll process and reconcile invoices, billings, cash receipts, vendor statements, and journal entries. You’ll review and code financial information, customer payments, profit and loss statements, and other reports. You’ll help the controller with month end close, reporting requirements, and reconciliations. And you’ll maintain accounting controls by following policies, procedures, and internal controls to keep financial data secure.

When you spot financial discrepancies, you’ll dig into account information to sort them out. You’ll also chip in with cost improvement initiatives and help the team accomplish results. It’s a deadline driven role where your task management and communication skills matter every day.

You don’t need to be an expert in everything accounting, but you need working knowledge of Accounts Receivable, Collections, Accounts Payable, and full range accounting duties. Cross training and enthusiasm are just as important as your documented work history.

What You’ll Need to Bring

• 3 to 5 years minimum experience in accounting
• Strong skills in all Microsoft programs, especially Excel
• Solid task management and the ability to hit deadlines
• Superb multi tasking and communication skills
• A pre employment drug screen and background check are required

Pay and Schedule

This role pays between $60,000 and $70,000 annually. That range is a starting point, not a guarantee. Sign on bonuses may be available depending on your experience and will be paid out per an offer letter addendum.
