Alright, let's talk about this driving job in Columbus, OH. It's not your average delivery route. You'd be driving an armored vehicle for Brink's Global Services, moving high value items like precious metals or banknotes for clients in mining, banking, and jewelry. The pay is $29.00 an hour.

The Job

You're the one in control of the truck. Your main focus is the safety and security of the vehicle, its cargo, and your crew at all times. That means guarding your partner during pickups and deliveries at customer locations.

You'll handle loading and unloading the truck itself. Keeping a clean vehicle; inside and out; is part of it, and you need to report any mechanical issues right away. There's paperwork, too; you're responsible for completing your driving route documentation and reporting any faults from the day.

Communication is constant. You maintain radio contact with your messenger, other crew members, and dispatch while you're out. And you've got to follow all DOT regulations and traffic laws to the letter.

Sometimes the work extends beyond the wheel. You might assist with sort operations at the facility, helping move secured valuables between the building and the trucks.

What You Need to Bring

• A Commercial Driver's License (Class B).
• At least one year of experience as a commercial driver.
• You must be 21 years of age or older.
• A currently valid standard driver’s license.
• The ability to meet all Department of Transportation requirements.
• A valid firearms permit, or the ability to pass the licensing requirements to get one.
• A valid guard card, or the ability to obtain one (and any other required state licenses).
• The job requires consistent lifting of at least 50 pounds throughout your shift.

It'd Be a Plus If...

You've got direct customer service experience in the field. Being proficient with Microsoft Office apps is helpful. And honestly, a professional demeanor, good ethics, integrity, and a collaborative attitude aren't just nice to haves here; they're essential for how this team operates.
