Delivery Driver

Here's the deal. You're going to be out there, on the move, making things work. This is a Monday through Friday gig where you'll be delivering and installing laundry machines or air vending equipment all over your assigned service area in Columbus, OH. One day it's an apartment building, the next it could be a laundromat or a customer's home. You're not stuck in one place.

What you'd do

You'll handle the whole process from start to finish. That means getting the equipment ready, loading up your company box truck, driving to the location, and doing the install. You'll also show customers how to use everything safely.

• Drive a box truck to deliver, pick up, and sometimes repair or replace washers, dryers, and air machines.
• Install the main equipment and any extra tech that goes with it, like card readers.
• Get machines prepped for delivery by assembling any necessary parts before they go on the truck.
• Give clear instructions to clients and customers on how to operate their new equipment.
• The job is physical. You'll be loading and unloading using a two wheeled hand cart for support. Expect a lot of standing, stooping, bending, and lifting.

The stuff you need

A few non negotiables first. You must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license. You also need to be at least 21 years old and able to pass our pre employment screening.

• A year of related experience in delivery and installation is preferred, but we provide training if you're a good fit otherwise.
• You should know your way around basic plumbing and electrical connections.
• Some mechanical or maintenance experience is a big help.
• You've got to be comfortable driving a box truck.
• The ability to lift up to 100 pounds in different environments is part of the job.
• Be okay with computers and smartphone tech; you'll use them for troubleshooting and routing.
• Any prior route driving experience is a definite plus.
• A DOT certification would be great, but it's not required starting out.
