About This Role

Let's talk about the work

You're a Physical Therapist. Here, that means you're working with inpatients.

Your day is built around understanding people, not just treating conditions. You'll do the evaluations, build the plans, and guide the treatments. You'll also supervise others who are providing care. It's about managing the whole process for your patients.

The real job is connecting with them; figuring out not just the physical hurdles, but the mental and emotional ones too. Their progress is your focus, and you get to celebrate every bit of it with them.

What you need to bring

  • A state license or certification to practice as a Physical Therapist.
  • A current CPR certification.
  • On education: a Master's degree is great. We'll also consider a Bachelor's degree if you've got solid, relevant experience to go with it.

The practical stuff

This is at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital in Columbia, SC. We're an inpatient rehab provider, and part of a larger national organization.

The gyms are good; well equipped with current tech. The team around you tends to be driven and supportive; we've been recognized as a best place to work for it. The idea is to give you what you need so you can focus on patient progress.

How we support you

  • Medical, dental, and vision plans that are affordable. They cover full time and part time employees and their families. These start on your first day.
  • Paid time off that builds up as you're here.
  • Help with tuition and continuing education so you can keep growing professionally.
  • A 401(k) plan with a company match, plus an employee stock purchase plan.
  • Access to flexible spending accounts (FSAs) and health savings accounts (HSAs).
